Exciting times ahead

Wandering into the shop this morning with my big coat and scarf on (definitely not a northerner anymore) it was hard to believe the summer holidays only ended last month. I was thinking back to the brilliant summer we have had this year. The heat wave seemed to last forever and the shop was busier than it has ever been.

You may think that Star Glazers is going into high street hibernation for the winter but that couldn't be further from the truth, we are maintaining the pace with more events, new staff and new ranges.

Our customers who have visited in the last few days may have already met our new staff members Catherine, Chloe, Sinead and Alexis on hand to help you with your arty creations or a lovely coffee. if you haven't visited yet, pop in and say hello. Catherine, Chloe and I all have a lot of painting and creating experience so can offer some great hints, tips and inspiration.

I am also introducing a lot of new styles and shapes into the range and to showcase them to the full we will be closing on Sunday 7th, Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th of October for some new shelving to be fitted. We have places free on Saturday and Wednesday if you would like to pay us a visit either side of the refurb.

If that isn't exciting enough we have so many great events coming up to look forward to, Halloween is at the end of this month as you know and we have some great pumpkins and ghosts to paint as well as a Candy Skull Painting Session on Thursday 4th October.

We are hosting an Ale Tasting event along with Treen's Brewery on 27th October. Come along and paint your own tankard whilst sampling the great ales Treen's Brewery have to offer.

Is it too early to get excited for Christmas? I think not!

We already have Christmas tree boxes, mitten plates and baubles out on the shop floor ready to paint. We also have mince pie and mulled wine late night sessions in November and December. Paint and Prosecco evenings and a cheese and wine night coming up.
